The Complete Book of the Winter Olympics

Turin 2006 Edition
By David Wallechinsky and Jaime Loucky
Applauded by the Wall Street Journal as "a staggering compendium of results, highlights and oddments," and "indispensable" by the New York Times Book Review, the Olympic writing of David Wallechinsky has delighted critics and sports fans for more than 20 years. In The Complete Book of the Winter Olympics: Turin 2006 Edition, Wallechinsky continues that tradition with a gold-medal performance that once again combines comprehensive results, statistics and records with photographs and the stories behind the events. Completely updated, The Complete Book of the Winter Olympics includes the top eight finishers in every Olympic event from the inaugural Winter Games in 1924 through the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City. The Games are brought to life by Wallechinsky's colorful narrative style, in which he injects perspective, analysis and humor into his storytelling.
